About this Entry

Temple Academy

At Temple Academy, we welcome teenagers from all backgrounds. This is not a traditional boarding school; the students are not sent here for behavioral issues. We are one of the best educational institutions in North America and strive to keep it that way. Teachers and students are held to the highest level of decency, as strong morals and values are of the utmost importance at Temple Academy. Make yourself home here in our school. We accept anyone from all over the world, from ages fourteen to nineteen to come study here at Temple Academy.

We also welcome different teachers to join in on our ranks. Teachers must apply and be over the age of twenty-two and have a degree in a specific field, such as science or history. Here at Temple, we already have the works ie: Art, History, Psychology, Foreign Languages, Music, PE, English, Science, Math and Home Economics and we are very welcome to more and different things that may be out there.

Grades are always important and we wish to have each and every student who attends here achieve the most they can from our institution, we strive for excellence. Teachers are expected to assign homework weekly and to help the student achieve the best that they can.

Now Accepting College Students! However please speak to the mod before applying as one, as the character needs to be tied into the school somehow.

Aug. 18th, 2008 @ 03:01 pm Miniatures
About this Entry
Perhaps this is a shot in the dark, but would anybody know where I can find something like "modern miniatures"... if such a thing exists? I'm planning on running a Vampire: the Masquerade game soon, and I'd like to have a few mini's for my battle map. I have plenty that I use for Dungeons & Dragons, but Vampire loses a little something when you use "Gar the Dwarven" (or something) to represent your Toreador.

Good afternoon all. We definately need a new moderator. If you feel up to the challenge, please let me know. You can email me at niquieragland at gmail dot com. I am really looking for someone who lives in Tennessee who wants to see people in Tennessee get to know each other better in the role playing community as well as someone who wants to help support our locally owned stores in Tennessee.

I would stay as moderator, but I no longer live in Tennessee and feel that someone in the state would be a better fit.

Please let me know!

The website I work for just released this subtitler game, so I thought I'd share my geekness with the world. This is only one of the ones I've made... this thing is like crack.

Given that the 4th edition of Dungeons and Dragons is being released tomorrow, I thought I'd go ahead and see if anyone in Chattanooga were interested in forming a group. DM, looking for players here (unless someone else is willing to wear the mantle).

If anyone has any info, it would be apprecieated. Original poster is over on Chattcom.

Mar. 25th, 2008 @ 02:48 pm Random D&D question
About this Entry
My friends and I were discussing ranged combat in D&D and one of them mentioned a feat in 3.5 that allows for "ranged cleave" or something akin to that where you can hit multiple foes with one shot. I was unfamilliar with this - the only things I thought of were Halfling skiprocks with the war sling. Anyone know what feat he was talking about since my friend can not recall where he saw this?

Crossposted a couple of places, so appologies for any spam.
